1. Introduction
The GAMMA Χ-γ Personal Alarm Dosimeter is a precision instrument designed to provide reliable personal safety.

3. Instrument operation
3.1 Start up
Press the reset for several seconds, the instrument begin to measure
The display should indicate GAMMA and Ready to use
The instrument display four number.
Left up: dose rate
Right up: particles
Left down: average dose rate
Right down: level
3.2 Reset
The instrument begin to measure again, when the reset button be depressed.
3.3 Turn Off
Press the reset button for several seconds to turn off.
3.4 Battery discharge
If the battery voltage is lower than 9V, the indication “LOW BAT”appears on the display, calling for battery replacement.
4. Measurement
● The dose rate value to be given will then the average of which should be read off at a constant rate in sequence.
● The instrument emits a warning sound as soon as the measured value exceeds the level value.
5. Maintenance
● The storage area must be dry and free from corrosive gases.
● The instrument may only be stored with batteries removed.
● The instrument should be protected from dropping and impact.
