PEN/PRINT CARTRIDGE REPLACEMENT
Notes:

2. The password is set to 010 at the factory but can be ed-ited in Instrument Configuration.
Before changing the pens/print cartridge, the pens should be parked (fanned) as follows (ref. figure 2.3). 1. From the background display, operate the 'Enter' key. 2. Scroll-in the password, then operate 'Enter' twice. The chart stops and the pens fan, or the printhead moves to the centre of its travel; the 'H' symbol is illuminated to indicate that the instrument is in 'chart hold' mode.
Once replacement is complete, operate the Cancel (X) key
then use the 'Up arrow' key to access the zero and span set-ting keys.

These allow the position of the new pens / print-head to be aligned with the 0% and 100% grid lines on the chart.
